The location is a big plus, with many good restaurants and cafés nearby. Our favourites were Warung @ Bhisma and Muputropis Café. There’s also a clean laundry service, Puji Laundry, with morning drop-off and afternoon pickup, which was very convenient, plus a new yoga studio right next to the Mupu Café. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Ubud Palace. While there, visit Ubud Dalem Temple and the Ubud Art Market. In the morning there’s a local fruit and vegetable market until around 8:00 am. The stay itself was comfortable, and the staff replied very quickly on WhatsApp. They arranged a driver who was friendly, skilled, spoke good English, and charged very reasonable prices. Our rooms were very clean, and we didn’t encounter any pests. Housekeeping came daily, replenished toiletries, and changed towels approximately every three days. Breakfast was tasty and generous, served from 7:30 to 11:00, which suited early risers and slower mornings alike. Highly recommended for a comfortable, well-located stay in Ubud.

The owner is very kind and helpful, and his son is too. The owner also runs a coffee shop on the road, Mupu Tropis, where you can sit in a charming garden. We slept wonderfully for three nights in a clean, spacious room with a balcony where breakfast was served. The shower was warm and powerful, and the toilet was clean. Breakfast came with plenty of fruit and juice, and the avocado toast with egg was delicious. It was all very reasonably priced. The accommodation is on a lovely street with nice restaurants and spas nearby. It’s about a 10-minute walk to central Ubud, the palace, and the monkey forest. We could easily get around during the day, using a Grab scooter to visit Cretya Pool and the rice terraces, and a car to reach a beautiful silverware shop and waterfalls.

The garden is gorgeous, and Wayan was such a kind, wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious, too. Our room had lots of space, was clean, and had a great bathroom. I loved having coffee on the balcony, with coffee from his son’s cafe at the top of the road, or sitting on the porch with the cute doggies 🥰. It’s a quiet, peaceful spot.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and really cozy beds and pillows. You can walk to the town center, markets, and plenty of Warungs. Wot Not and El Toro have bands every night. Great value, and I’d definitely recommend it.
