Tejaprana Bisma

The rooms and service are very good, but the spa was the worst I've experienced. I booked in advance for my final visit. The therapist had good technique and decent pressure, but left me unattended for more than half the session. I was in a hurry before getting off work, and only focused on cleaning up because she'd left me there alone. After the massage, nobody wiped the oil off with a warm towel, so I had to rush back to my accommodation with oil all over my body and feet to shower. They didn't even offer after-massage tea. If this is the hotel's policy and not the therapist's mistake, I think that's a very serious problem.

The breakfast was amazing, with everything delicious and better than at any other restaurant we tried. When we had to leave for a tour at 4 a.m. one day, they thoughtfully packed us sandwiches, fruit, and mixed bread, and it was all great. All the staff were incredibly kind and gave us excellent hospitality. Best hotel ever, highly recommend.

The landscaping was beautiful, and I loved how peaceful it was to swim in the private pool while watching cows graze and fireflies glow at night. The spa therapists gave gentle, detailed massages too. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and kind, which really stood out, especially Made, who was so sweet and thoughtful. Being so close to Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary made the location feel special. In the mornings, I could spot monkey families nearby. The resort seemed relatively new and was very well maintained. My villa had elegant interiors and a private pool, and felt luxurious while still being comfortable. I spent four days here on my Bali trip, and it ended up being one of the highlights. The staff were sincere and warm in every interaction, attentive and thoughtful without making their care feel forced. I also appreciated how kid-friendly the place was. Housekeeping and the evening turndown were handled with care. The food surprised me. It was on a fine dining level, rather than the decent-but-forgettable meals I've had at many resorts. Breakfast was exceptional, especially the Eggs Benedict, and even the pastries were beautifully done. Room service was consistently impressive. The spa was a lovely way to end each day, with massages, a beautiful view, and reasonable prices.
