The Runik Ubud

Our room was spacious and lovely, with a big comfortable bed, a great shower and a private porch with its own seating area. The pool was great, everything was clean and the service attentive. The location made it easy to get around Ubud, with plenty of coffee and food places nearby. The price was reasonable, too. Highly recommended.

The location was handy for nearby sights, and the price was affordable. There’s no restaurant on site, but a few steps away is a wonderful local warung with excellent food at reasonable prices. Our room was clean and very nice, with a rustic bathroom and fresh fruit brought each day. The grounds felt private, with a garden of local Balinese statues and a clean swimming pool. Breakfast was a la carte, and very good, especially the fresh fruit and smoothies. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I especially loved Andy potato wedges. Thanks for your hospitality. It felt like a hidden gem in central Ubud. There are only a few rooms, so it stays quiet with fewer guests, which we like. The outdoor area is lovely and the pool is a good size. It’s tucked into a small gang, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, salons and minimarts nearby. We slept really well at night. The suite room we booked was quite large, including the bathroom, and they cleaned it every day. Breakfast isn’t a buffet. You choose Continental or American, which might not be ideal for a longer stay. There were some things that needed attention: the towels smelled musty, the terrace hanging rack was moldy, the chairs were stained and the cushion covers looked worn. The mattress seemed very old, and the welcome fruit had spoiled by the next day. Check the fruit before your guest checks in.

The team were so nice and helpful, especially Nata. Thanks to them all. The hotel is small, clean and has lovely rooms that felt really luxurious. It was so quiet that at times it felt like we had the place to ourselves, very relaxing. It’s just behind the main road, so you can walk to things while staying away from the traffic and noise. There’s a restaurant nearby, and the hotel feels like a little oasis. I loved it and would recommend it to everyone, maybe not children. I’d definitely come back to Ubud and stay here again.
