We stayed three nights and had a great time overall, with really nice service. The staff were very helpful, especially Narwana, who offered to drive us around for a very reasonable price. The location worked well for getting to the market and nearby sights. Waterfalls, hiking and the monkey forest were all within an hour's drive at most. One thing to improve is the mosquito net over the bed. It was dusty, and we had some allergy trouble during our stay.

We had a great three-night stay. The rooms were roomy and had a native Balinese style, breakfast was good, and renting a bike made getting around a great experience. It’s an open place, so there were mosquitoes and other insects. I even found a baby centipede in the tub. Some bird made a terrible noise every night. It startled me the first night, but I got used to it.

We were especially glad to be welcomed by Sudi, and the staff were kind and helpful with arranging trips and activities. The hotel is cozy and quiet, with a free shuttle into the center, though walking takes only about 10 minutes. Breakfast was good. The restaurant itself didn't offer much variety, but there are places to eat right across from the resort.

The rooms were clean and tidy, offered good privacy, and worked well for us with the kids. Staff service was very good, and the free shuttle into central Ubud was a nice bonus. The hotel is centrally located, easy to reach, and good value for money, with rooms that are pretty good by Bali standards. The rooms do need a serious update and feel quite dated. Hot water wasn't available all the time, and lots of insects came inside. We still had a very satisfying stay.
