Ubud One Village

The rooms were big and pretty good, though a little dirty. Housekeeping came daily, which was good, but the staff weren’t friendly or helpful at all, and we didn’t feel comfortable there. We waited an hour for breakfast, and when it finally arrived it was cold. The room was cheap, but things like laundry, tour booking, and scooter rental were so expensive. I wouldn’t go back.

Rice paddy views seem to be everywhere you look, and the rooms and facilities are spacious, clean, and well maintained. The staff are very polite and friendly, and the pool is clean and a good size. Breakfast was good, though the restaurant needs a lot of improvement, especially since the property is secluded from other cafes, shops, and places to eat. We ordered room service, but the Nasi Goreng, fried chicken, and satay were hardly edible. Apart from that, everything was great and we had a pleasant stay.

The special honeymoon package included a lovely romantic dinner and a relaxing spa massage. We also had complimentary breakfast with plenty of choices, and could eat in our room or at the restaurant. The place itself was lovely, with beautiful views, and the staff were always friendly, cheerful, and went out of their way to help. Many thanks to Pak Edo for arranging our stay, and to the management and whole team for making our honeymoon from 1 March to 4 March 2020 such a lovely experience. My husband and I would absolutely recommend it and would come back.

The view from every room is amazing, and the staff are very professional. It’s extremely good value. You’ll need your own transport to get in and out easily. If you want to be away from the city centre and experience Ubud the way it should be, this is a great place. I’d definitely return.
