The days started with sunrise over the rice fields from the pool, and often ended with dinner and excellent Kintamani coffee at nearby Rusters. Uma Stana felt peaceful while still being close to Ubud. The villa is beautiful and works really well for a group without losing its intimate feel. Most of all, the staff made us feel at home, with kind, knowledgeable help on local customs and things to do. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The staff made a great holiday even better. They were ready to help with laundry, breakfast requests like bacon, and recommendations, and even found a cake for my daughter's 13th birthday. The views are amazing, the place is clean, and the service is attentive. Those five stars are well deserved.

We could get into Ubud easily, then come back to a quiet spot away from the crowds. The villa is roomy and really nice, a great fit for a family holiday, and it made for a very relaxing stay. The staff were extremely helpful too. One of my favourite places in Ubud, highly recommended.

The one thing I'd change is the villa sign. It's small, unlit, and hard to spot at night, so our driver went past the entrance. Otherwise, the view, room, pool, and staff were all really great. I'd recommend this villa if you're looking for a nice place to stay in Ubud.

I've stayed at some of the world's best properties, and Uma Stana belongs on that list. The top floor room is enormous, almost as if three rooms had been combined into one, and the other rooms are lovely too. Great location and awesome staff. A must stay in Ubud.
