The room had lots of holes in the walls, and one night a rat ran across the floor. That's the main letdown. The villa could also provide hand towels for washing your hands. Getting around is easier with a scooter since it's quite far from the main centre. The hotel offers good quality scooter hire and was flexible about the rental days. Breakfast was delicious and filling enough to last for hours, unlike the small toast and fruit some other hotels serve. The waffle and black rife pudding get a 10/10 from me. There are free water refills in the lobby, and the place looks great with a good vibe. The staff were kind and helpful. Their English wasn't too strong, but we could get our message across.

The staff were phenomenal, friendly and always ready to help, and I liked the breakfast. The place is about 20 minutes from the centre by car and feels cut off from everything, which is good if you want quiet. The room looks nice, and the bed is comfortable, but the room itself wasn't. There were ants everywhere. I doubt the bathroom gets a proper clean: the toilet bowl was stained and there was a constant drain smell.

It's a little far from the city centre, but the quiet atmosphere makes it worthwhile. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The bedroom was cozy with a big, comfortable bed, and the bathroom was huge. After a full day exploring Ubud, the bathtub was lovely, or you could relax by the pool. Amazing resort.

We'd expected somewhere peaceful and relaxing, but left frustrated and exhausted. It was the most uncomfortable hotel stay I've ever had, and I strongly don't recommend it. There was no soundproofing. We heard footsteps, furniture moving, and even quiet talking from upstairs, along with traffic noise and unnecessary honking late into the night. Rest was out of the question. The hotel is far from central Ubud, so it's hard to get anywhere without a scooter or taxi. Ants were everywhere, including on the pillows, under the sheets, and across the floor. I kept feeling as if something were crawling on me, so sleeping peacefully was impossible. The room also felt dirty and neglected: the sheets had stains, the towels were old and grey, and cleaning was only superficial. There was mold in the bathroom, old fixtures, no hot shower water, and Wi-Fi that barely worked or didn't work at all. They didn't provide basic toiletries such as shampoo or shower gel. When we asked, we were told to buy our own. The staff barely spoke English, making it difficult to communicate or ask for help. Breakfast was a cold boiled egg, not included in the price, and sometimes it arrived late anyway.
