Vije Boutique Resort & Spa

I spent 18 days at this beautiful resort, from 25th of January to 12th of February 2026, and was looked after the whole time. The staff were always eager to help, the service was excellent, and I got candid advice on all sorts of important matters. The rooms were very well appointed, and my pool was cleaned daily. Honestly, the experience was beyond what I’d imagined. The outdoors and organic landscaping give the place a unique feel, and it was ideal for quiet time on my own, relaxing and reflecting. I’d definitely return soon and strongly recommend a visit. All the best, and thank you so much!

They arranged a lovely birthday stay for us, and replied to our WhatsApp messages really quickly. The staff were kind and helpful. The restaurant was very good too. We especially recommend the gyoza, cauliflower, tomato salad, lychee cooler and sambal matah, all tasted amazing. We also loved the morning yoga class with teacher Putu. Wish we’d had more time for classes. The pool was just the right size, and the water and chairs were clean. The room was amazing as well. I think I’ll come back next time I visit Bali.

The place looks beautiful, with a lovely room, a stunning bathroom and a nice pool. The photos do make it look a bit different, though I suppose that’s to be expected. There’s potential here, but quite a bit needs improvement. We felt uncomfortable throughout our stay because of the staff. They were polite, but something felt off. In Bali, I’m used to feeling welcomed, cared for and attended to, and the warm greetings and hospitality are part of what makes it special. The language barrier was also difficult. They couldn’t understand what we were asking, and eventually we gave up. There was no pool service either. We had to find two staff members ourselves to get towels and drinks. The food was terrible. The breakfast bread was hard as a rock, the food had no taste and we couldn’t eat it. Dinner was the same. Our room’s balcony door didn’t lock or shut properly, the sink kept blocking up, and the toilet smelled. The sun loungers around the pool were mouldy, and the pool towels were old and ratty.

We tried the vegetarian dishes, and every one was excellent. The hotel has a lovely setting, and the staff gave fabulous service, going above and beyond. It was worth the extra cost.
