Woywoy Escape Samu (Adults Only)

A lovely experience. The space was clean, the outdoor bathtub had warm water, and the swimming pool was a good size. They also had a projector screen at night 🍿. Breakfast was okay, and there’s no kitchen.

This place is soooo cute down to the little details 🫠. The moving bed completely blew my mind 🤯. There’s a remote, and with a button you can move the bed from inside the room out onto the terrace!

The view was amazing, and although it’s a little way from the center, we had a great stay and would come back and recommend it to friends. The room was clean and spacious for the price. Staff were friendly and helped us kindly when we had trouble with a tour we’d booked. The breakfast was below average, though. Since getting to the center of Ubud for breakfast takes almost 20 minutes by bike, having a good breakfast at the room matters for starting the day.

We really liked the setup, peaceful surroundings, and price. Getting Grab rides was a hassle because the address didn’t seem to exist on the maps, so sometimes we had to walk 5-10 minutes along the side streets first. It’s also about 20 minutes from central Ubud, which makes going out for dinner less straightforward. I’d recommend staying here if you hire a scooter.
