Bali Bio Villas

My bamboo hut was small but gorgeous, and had everything I needed. The facilities were clean and easy to access, and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were all lovely too. The cleaner gave me a hug on my first morning, she’s just so lovely! 💗

We spent four days here, starting in the hut and then moving to a regular room. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My partner’s bag didn’t arrive on the plane, and they kindly lent him some shorts and a towel. We rented bikes from them as well, a 150cc one that was perfect for exploring southern Bali. Clean and quiet, highly recommend!

The owner was incredibly kind when the airline lost my bag, letting me borrow their own shorts, towel and other things while I waited for it to arrive. Since the place wasn’t very booked, they also gave us a free upgrade. There’s lots to keep you occupied, from hammocks, yoga mats and blocks, a pool, light dumbbells, darts and TRX rings to plenty of places to sit and unwind. It’s a great spot if you want to stay active on holiday or need something to do while waiting out the rain. They put out free fruit and coffee each morning, and there’s a fridge with cheap beers and space for your own food if you want to cook. A must-stay if you’re in the South Island. Highly recommend!

For my birthday, I picked Bali Bio Villas for a week, and I’m so glad I did. My partner and I have been traveling around Southeast Asia for seven months and have stayed in all sorts of places across seven countries. This one’s easily our favorite. V made us feel at home, and it reminded us of a summer house in the Algarve back in Portugal. It’s a lovely spot to slow down, with nature all around and a good location for a quiet few days. We had everything we needed: comfy beds, mosquito nets, a kitchen, hot water, reliable Wi-Fi, and a pool. 10/10. Thank you, V 🥰
