Padadita Beach Hotel

Thinking back to my 2017 staycation, the sunrise by the beachfront was magical. The room was comfortable, and the hotel team arranged visits to some tourist attractions in East Sumba directly. Those memories are unforgettable. Thank you, Padadita Beach Hotel team, for the great service and hospitality.

It’s one of my favorite places in Waingapu, even though the hotel isn’t very new. The location is strategic, the grounds are beautiful, and it’s practical and very economical at around Rp480K a night. The wifi is good, and it’s also a great place for swimming.

We had a lovely stay at Padadita beach hotel. The staff were friendly, breakfast had good food and drinks, and the kids enjoyed the pool. Thank you.

The food was awful. Breakfast was almost unbearable, with everything tasting bad, so we ended up eating only bread and banana with chocolate. The service didn’t help: front desk staff were slow and often couldn’t understand simple requests, and at the restaurant we had to repeat our order several times. We stayed in the Junior Suite, the hotel’s best room, and aside from the nice view, the experience was terrible. The furniture looked old and poor, the toilet seat was stained and dirty, and there was a huge cockroach in the room. Completely unacceptable. This was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. Cleanliness, maintenance, food quality, and staff training all need serious improvement before the hotel can justify its prices.
