I’m giving it 5 stars mainly for the location. It’s 8 minutes on foot from Malioboro Road, with lots of shops selling local food nearby and an Indomaret grocery store. The rooms are fine, though the toilet is really narrow. The architecture is from the 90s, but that’s okay. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The room was great, with a sofa, desk, and TV. The bathroom was small but still clean and hygienic, and had shower gel and shampoo. The man who showed us around the rooms was lively and polite. Service was 5/5, definitely recommended!

Breakfast was satisfying, and the staff were kind and helpful the whole time. I spent five pleasant days at Cordela Hotel Yogyakarta, and its location made getting around easy, with Malioboro just a short walk away for shopping and sightseeing. It was a memorable stay, and I’d gladly recommend it to people visiting Yogyakarta.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is right by Yogyakarta’s main attractions. But the building feels run down, and the rooms barely block any sound. I could hear everything from the floor and outside, very loudly. On top of that, lounge-type music played on the floors from about 8am to 10pm, which made no sense.
