Griya Pamengkang 2 - Colonial House

I stayed at Griya Pamengkang III. The house was sparkling clean, with large common areas, though the rooms were a bit small. All three rooms have attached bathrooms, and towels and soap were provided.

A clean house with a huge room and backyard. Nice place to stay with family when visiting Jogjakarta.

The building is mostly white, and it comes stocked with household appliances and basic kitchen utensils. Tea, coffee, and sugar are there too, as well as towels. Toiletries aren’t provided.

Griya Pamengkang is close to the Yogyakarta Palace and has a strong Javanese feel. It’s a spacious house that works well for a group, extended family, or friends visiting Yogyakarta. There are two large living rooms just inside, plus a roomy terrace for gathering outside. The kitchen is at the back and has a water dispenser with a gallon of mineral water, plates, glasses, and cutlery. There’s also an air-conditioned maid’s room in the kitchen area. A washing machine is available, though I didn’t use it, so I don’t know whether it works. The house has three large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, TV, AC, bed cover, and pillows. Liquid soap, shampoo, a toothbrush, and toothpaste were provided.
