Housekeeping kept our room in great shape every day, and it stayed comfortable throughout our visit. Even on hot Austin afternoons, the AC kept things just right. The shower had excellent water pressure, which made getting ready in the morning quick and refreshing.

It’s a nice, very budget-friendly inn for spending a night or two, especially if you’re riding between cities. The room itself was nice, though I hadn’t realized it was a Syariah Homestay. I was traveling alone, so that wasn’t an issue for me. It was also quite remote, which surprised me after finding the deal on Trip. The room I’d booked was supposed to have AC, but the receptionist first showed me one with a fan. He said the room description had already been updated in the app, though customers couldn’t see the change. I asked about it, and he eventually gave me an AC room, so that got sorted. The toilets only have squat-style toilets, no seated one. With my knee injuries, squatting was a struggle, but I paid for what the place offered, so I couldn’t really complain.

The room was dirty, as if it hadn’t been swept, and the bed smelled. It was small, with no space for prayer and no prayer room, despite being called a sharia inn. A man also came in. Check-in was a mess and the service was very bad. I confirmed with the admin that I could arrive at 12, but once there I was told to wait until 1 or 2. The app said check-in was at 1 and that express check-in was available at 12. Even when I showed the confirmation, they said the app listed 2, though that wasn’t what it showed me. I wasted a lot of time and got no apology. I still had to wait a long while for the room because guests were inside at 1, even though that was checkout time. A professional place should have had them leave at checkout instead of making new guests wait. Absolutely not recommended. This accommodation is absolutely a scam.
