The owner was wonderful, so welcoming and responsive to everything we needed. The grounds were very well kept, the rooms were clean, and it felt like a lovely little paradise. We did run into some Wi-Fi and hot-water problems, but he tried his best to sort both out.

A lovely peaceful spot, just a short scooter ride from Yogyakarta's busy tourist center. Rumah Sawah is a real homestay gem. Nanang and his wife Joan are incredibly kind hosts and made us feel at home right away. Highly recommend.

Each room has a nice patio outside, and there are fruit trees whose fruit Mr. Nanang lets you try. Some days he brought fresh juice and little treats, all delicious and such a thoughtful touch. He and his wife are so kind, and the whole place feels cozy, welcoming, and family-oriented. This is my favorite place to stay in Yogyakarta. Mr. Nanang is helpful whenever I need anything and always makes sure I feel at home. I can't imagine a better place to stay. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely come back when I'm in Jogja. I already miss it!

The owners were kind and happy to share tips about places to see nearby. Breakfast was great, and one of the owners is an excellent cook. Rumah Sawah is a quiet spot outside Yogjakarta's busy center, but a Grapp ride into town took about 15 minutes. Our room was large and clean, with its own little table and chairs on the patio. We spent evenings there with hot tea, listening to the birds. The garden is lovely for relaxing, and there's a swimming pool too. We really enjoyed staying here. Terima kasih!
