The service was responsive when we asked for help. They promptly replaced the smelly pillows, brought extra soap when we ran out, and came to sort out a power trip in one room. WhatsApp replies were quick. Breakfast changed daily, with rice, pasta, noodles, soup, vegetables, meat, and dessert always available, plus porridge, Indomie, and eggs at fixed stations. There were cooked options beyond fried food, and snacks like popcorn and local treats. Some dishes were warm, others cold, and flies landed on uncovered food such as the desserts. There was also an animal sanctuary with chickens and birds near reception, which was interesting. Still, our expectations from the other 4-5 star reviews didn't match what we found. The lobby felt stuffy, and there was no air conditioning along most of the corridors for the entire seven-night stay, day or night. The bathrooms were extremely damp and smelled odd. The bidet pressure couldn't be adjusted, the shampoo left my hair like a haystack, and the shower leaked under the sink. The hotel needs major repairs: wallpaper was peeling in corridors and rooms, bidet and shower holders were falling apart, one room's AC switch was taped to the wall, and a restaurant cabinet by the buffet had a broken door. Both rooms had musty, very smelly pillows, possibly with fungus inside, and one room had a power trip. The TV only had local channels. Each day they provided two small water bottles and one tea bag. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a four-star hotel. It feels more like a no-fuss place to come back to just for sleep.
