Clean and tidy, with a fun owner. It’s close to Tugu station and Malioboro.

For just 150,000 Rupiah when booked through tiket.com, I got more than I expected. The room had air conditioning, a TV, and a table to put belongings on, and the bathroom had a shower. There’s also a rooftop where you can relax or take in the view, with complimentary coffee and tea.

The rooms were comfortable, and toiletries were provided, though there was no hot water. The place is tucked down an alley, but the alley is neat and well kept. It’s very close to Stasiun Yogyakarta, an easy walk, and you can see the station as soon as you leave the alley. If you’d rather put your money toward sightseeing and trying different foods in Yogyakarta, Rumah Mahyra Syariah is an affordable option with comfortable rooms. My first impression was that it was inexpensive without feeling cheap, and the other guest reviews were very good too 😁👍
