There’s no kitchen, but they gave us two thermoses of hot water with tea and coffee ready to make. A bucket was also available if you wanted to wash clothes yourself. The guesthouse owner was friendly and helpful, and the kids had plenty of room to run around. We were the only group there, so they could really enjoy it. The location made getting around easy, with Samas Beach, Pandan Sari Beach, Goa Cemara Beach, Gumuk Pasir Beach, Puncak Taman Buah Mangunan, Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Ganjuran, Cafe Ganjuran, Pada Gatak traditional market, and the Susteran orphanage nearby. Vendors gather by the roundabout in the morning and evening. In the morning there was chicken satay for 11,000 rupiah for 10 skewers, chicken porridge, yellow rice, and cheap, tasty gudeg rice at Gatak market. Our room was clean, though there was a cobweb in a bathroom corner. The air-conditioned bathroom was cleaner than the one without air conditioning. There are only two air-conditioned rooms.

Stayed last night. It gets hot farther in, so I'd pick a room closer to the front. Maybe management could look into that.

Easy to find food nearby, and the place is comfortable. I’d stay again if I come back to Ganjuran.

Being near Ganjuran's spiritual attractions, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and Ganjuran Temple, makes this a great idea for accommodation. I hope it inspires others to build places like it.
