Sunday brunch at The Loft was freshly cooked, hot and good quality, with no grease on the breakfast items. The coffee was really good too, and the prices are excellent. I had the mini Irish breakfast for €13, with two sausages, bacon, black and white pudding, egg, hash brown, toast and an Americano included. The American-style pancakes were less than €9 for four large ones, with Nutella, maple syrup or compote. There’s a great brunch menu with waffles, avo toast, eggs Benedict and more. Definitely worth a visit.

The food is always lovely, freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. Their Irish breakfast is legendary, and lunchtime is always busy. The three brothers who run this town-centre pub and restaurant, along with their staff, create a lovely friendly atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ballina.
