The Tides B&B

When our car broke down about 15 minutes from the hotel, David came out himself, helped us contact a tow truck, and stayed until he knew everything was sorted. My family and I are so grateful to him. We were visiting Ireland for the first time, and he had made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He's truly one of the nicest, most helpful people we've met on our trip. Thank you, David!

Breakfast had plenty of choice, from a Full Irish to crepes, with a vegetarian option too. We enjoyed two nights here, with a comfortable en suite room and a shower with great water flow. David was a delightful host and shared useful tips on local sights and restaurants. The breakfast room's wraparound windows look out over the Cashen River estuary and the dunes of Ballybunion Golf Club.

After a long drive, David was waiting to welcome us even though it was after 10pm, with maps and recommendations ready. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower pressure was excellent. Breakfast was lovely too. The Tides B&B is a great find, just a quick walk from town. I'd highly recommend staying here, and we know we'll be back.

We had four rooms between us, all in immaculate condition, with plenty of space, amazing views, strong shower pressure, and the comfiest beds in all of Ireland. David was a fantastic host, kind and full of information about the town and places to see in and around Ballybunion. He'd get right back to you if you emailed with a question. His wife made breakfast from scratch, and it was the best the eight of us had anywhere in Ireland. This place is simply amazing, the best accommodation in the country. We'll certainly return on future trips. 10/10 recommend.
