Breda gave us a handmade souvenir and a map, and pointed us toward nearby attractions with helpful ideas for the day. There are plenty of good restaurants close by, too. She's one of the friendliest and most helpful hosts I've met, and the breakfast was fantastic, with eggs, smoked salmon, cereal, juice, tea and coffee. This is definitely one of the best B&Bs I've stayed in. One small issue: the TV is positioned so you can't really watch it.

Breda made us and our young children feel so welcome, and she was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We had a high-quality stay in a fantastic central location, with an Irish welcome that's hard to beat. Absolutely world-class hospitality. Highly recommended.

The TV in one room sat on a wardrobe, and there were no sockets by the beds. When we arrived, they handed us a bag with toilet paper and two little shampoo bottles, which felt pretty amusing. The towels were old and faded, and the carpet was awful. The rooms felt like we'd travelled back to the 1980s. They smelled mouldy, the bathrooms didn't smell clean, and the beds felt damp. Poor ventilation, dirty windows and walls, noisy locks, and every toilet flush could be heard throughout the house. We just wanted to run away in the middle of the night. Marina L

The owner is a very nice lady, and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. It's a comfortable B&B close to Ballyvaughan centre, and a great base for exploring the Burren.
