We stayed for a few nights during half term. There was loads of space for everyone, and the bedrooms were large, with lovely mountain views. The house is quite private, with a big front garden and an old, spacious courtyard out back. The kids had a large trampoline and a treehouse beside the house, though the treehouse could use a little work. A couple of windows were draughty and could do with replacing, but it wasn't too much of a problem.

Bansha felt welcoming and homey, thanks in part to the lovely shopkeeps. The countryside around it is stunning, all lush green with charming rock and hedge walls, and it's a peaceful place to rest. We loved this beautifully restored farmhouse. The house has plenty of character, beds and bathrooms, and it was a fantastic introduction to Ireland.

The owner was lovely and helpful, and we had a great weekend. It's a beautiful place with so much space for the kids to explore and play. Thank you.

Wellfield House is a pleasant old country house that's been refurbished. It's a couple of miles from downtown Bansha and works well for families or groups of six to eight.

We had room for the whole family in this wonderful farmhouse. It was fun seeing the cows!
