The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Our family really enjoyed the stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and made sure we had what we needed. We also loved the restaurant: there was lots to choose from, and the dishes we tried were delicious, with local ingredients showing off Irish cuisine. With the beautiful nature all around, it’s a lovely place to unwind. Carrickbyrne Hill Park and its memorial nearby are a must-see. Cedar Lodge Hotel is a real gem in Co. Wexford, and we can’t wait to return. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Wexford.

The little touches made my stay especially nice. My bed was already warm from an electric blanket when I arrived, and, with an early ferry the next morning, the host got up early to cook me a delicious breakfast and gave me a newspaper for the crossing. I also stayed for dinner, enjoying a delicious Dublin Bay prawn cocktail and lovely South African wines. I arrived in the evening to a warm welcome from the owner. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it and will be back!

Breakfast was a scrumptious, classic Irish one. The staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome, and the view of Carrigbyrne Hill and the surrounding landscape was beautiful. We stayed just one night and had a first-rate experience. Our room was immaculate, and the bathroom sparkled. The decor felt stylish and elegant, while the attractive bar and wood-burning stove gave the hotel a warm ambience.

The service was brutal. When we ate in the bar, we were given two flat Cokes poured from a 2-litre bottle and two small plates of chips, and it cost us €16. There were two of us staying, and we had to change rooms because the smell of sewage was coming through it. When we asked, the staff were very rude and cheeky. From the moment we arrived, we were met by pig-ignorant staff. The place was empty, and I’m not surprised. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Such a lovely, cozy house of a hotel that will stay in our memory. The rooms are spacious, and the food from the kitchen was delicious. Friendly staff and great management. Thank you so much.
