Atlantic House B&B

Kathleen even arranged a lift for us to the pub and came back to collect us later, after we'd eaten, had a couple of drinks and played pool at another pub on the same street. My dad and I were worn out after nearly 5/6 hrs on the road during our motorbike trip across Cork in August 2024, so that kindness really stood out. When we arrived, she rang the local pub/restaurant and got us one of the last tables for the evening. Kathleen and her family were exceptional hosts. The rooms were cosy and wonderfully clean, and breakfast was delicious. We had such a lovely time, and still marvel at how kind our hosts were. We'd absolutely stay again if we're back to Skibbereen.

Breakfast was fresh, varied and delicious, with a seaview. Kathleen also helped us reserve dinner and was kind throughout. The rooms were clean and nice, and she gave us useful advice about what to do, and what to skip, with our limited time in the area. She's a gem. We highly recommend this place.

We could come and go as we pleased, which made the place feel like home. Kathleen and John were happy to chat about our holiday and share local tips and recommendations. They also put out a great range of breakfast choices, and ours was cooked just right. We had a lovely weekend at Atlantic House. The room was comfortable, nicely presented and had everything we needed. We got quick answers to our questions before arrival and felt at ease as soon as we were welcomed. It's a beautiful house in a lovely location, and I'd recommend staying here.

Waking up to that view left me completely satisfied. The room and bathroom were nice and up to date, and breakfast was good. Kathleen was very friendly and had tips for local restaurants and other places to check out. The WiFi could be better.
