A cheerful, very clean little place in the middle of nowhere. The host was polite and let us check in a few hours early without any trouble. Our double bed was comfortable, and the room had a large wardrobe, a flatscreen TV and a small en suite with a stand-up shower. The road outside got a bit noisy late at night, though the TV covered it up. Cavan's main area is about a 10-minute walk away, and the weekly farmers' market is five minutes on foot. If you're travelling the fun way, it's an easy walk with your luggage from the bus station. I stayed one night with my fiancé.

I spent a month at Farnham House B & B and found it quiet and really pleasant. After days out exploring, it was comfortable to come back to a spotless, well-kept room. The stay was better than I expected, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone visiting Cavan Town.

Lyndsey, Laura and the men at the bar treated me like family. I booked a room for a relative, and they went out of their way to find him a nice room and help him settle in. They also kept me updated by email about my bill. Great service at a hotel close to town. Well done.

A budget-friendly B&B, and my room was clean, warm and comfortable. The noisy creaking from the upstairs floorboards started at 7:30 in the morning, though!

We had a horrible experience in Cavan. The Bulgarian guy was rude and blackmailed us. Doctors normally charge 80 euro for a double bed, but he said to give him 100 euro. I wouldn't recommend this at all.
