The town shops are just a one-minute walk away, and there’s a nightclub about 100 feet from the pub. It’s in a very quiet area, close to a chipper and the local taxi office. I’ve only seen it open about twice, so I’m not sure if it’s open all the time, but it seems like a nice, quiet pub.

The host was really friendly and welcoming, and it’s a comfortable hotel and a good place to stay. It’s also a great pub with a stylish selection of drinks. I’d recommend this place ☝️👍

Declan is chatty, welcoming, and a real gentleman. McCauls is a must if you’re ever in Cavan. It’s a great pub, with a wide range of whiskeys and gins, and the beer is great too.

Lovely pub, and the bar staff were attentive and really knew their stuff. They even recommended grapefruit for our G&T!
