Clonakilty Park Hotel

We had a bad experience with noise from other guests at night, and gave reception the details. The room itself was modern, clean and very nice, and the staff were pleasant. Food in the bar was good, though breakfast was basic. The pool and kids' areas were nice too.

Mia at reception made this stay especially lovely. She was so warm and friendly when I arrived, and it set the tone for a great visit. I've stayed here a few times over the years, and the rooms are consistently clean. The bar has a great atmosphere and breakfast is good.

We stayed in the holiday houses for a hen party on February 14th 2026, and they worked really well for our group. There was loads of space, everyone could gather together, and we were still comfortable. Dinner at the hotel was fantastic too, with delicious food, a lovely atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff who really looked after us. Thanks to the team at Clonakilty Park Hotel for making the evening and weekend so special. We had a brilliant time and made great memories.

The kids' play area and swimming pool were nice, and the family disco and bingo were grand. Breakfast was fine too. But for the price, especially after driving over two hours to get there, we came away underwhelmed. We went for one night with our two kids and ate in the bar so my son and husband could watch the GAA. After our meal we were told they needed our table, and with nowhere else to sit, we had to go back to the room. My chicken supreme was a very small portion for €25, so I was disappointed with the food. In bed we could hear the wind and rain, then realised the window was broken and wouldn't close. There was no bottled water in the room. It wasn't a problem to go down to the bar for some, but it would have been handy to have it supplied, as other hotels we've stayed in have provided a couple of bottles.
