Breakfast was outstanding, and the hosts were fantastic, so welcoming and accommodating. The house blends its historic architecture with modern touches. It’s a short walk from the main town, which made it quieter, while still keeping everything we needed close by. We couldn’t recommend a stay here more.

Ronnie made sure we were comfortable throughout our one-night stay, and was attentive about any dietary restrictions at breakfast. The meal was exceptional. Our room had a beautiful harbor view, and both the room and washroom were spotless and tastefully decorated. The gardens and flowers were gorgeous and well kept, and the sign out front made the property easy to find. Communication with Ronnie before and during the stay was great.

Our host Ronnie went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and we even got to meet his beautiful dogs. The room was really comfortable, and breakfast was one of the nicest meals we had on our Ireland vacation. We had a lovely stay.

Oakhurst was a quiet and comfortable place to stay in late July, with a very comfortable bed and room. It’s within walking distance of Cobh’s main center. Ronnie was very friendly and accommodated the requests we made. Breakfast was five-star, thanks to his creativity. If you visit Cobh Ireland, you must stay here.
