The River Lee Hotel

This was our second stay, and we’re even more impressed. We had dinner in the grill room, where Elisa looked after us so attentively and sweetly. Asking our names and using them throughout made the experience feel personal, and she and the other staff made us feel really cared for. Reception were kind and professional too. The food and drinks were top notch. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

We spent two nights at the River Lee Hotel in Cork City for a recent family birthday, and everything made for a great stay. The rooms, bars, leisure centre, lifts, and overall comfort were fantastic, and staff were friendly throughout. Reception were especially welcoming, particularly Maeve, who took the time to explain everything and made us feel like special guests. We had a sumptuous Saturday evening meal at The River Club Restaurant, and it was extremely good value for our group. When we checked out, our car battery was malfunctioning in the underground car park. Two restaurant staff members, Paul and Robert, came to the rescue with jump leads and a car to jump it off. The hotel seems to improve every year. It’s great to have full access to the gym, sauna, and pool. The food is delicious and well prepared, and there’s a great space for meetings too.

We stayed one night on the 14th of October. The River Lee Hotel is well placed at the western end of Cork City, and the lobby staff were friendly and professional. It’s a modern building, with a nice lobby, bars, and a restaurant/breakfast room. Our room was comfortable, with modern outlets, good lighting, and a nice bathroom. We had oysters and wine in the bar, and the staff, oysters, wine, and bar were all top notch. Nearby self-parking was reasonable.
