The Lodges at Kilkea Castle

We were in one of the lodges for a wedding at the hotel, and everything felt lovely from beginning to end. The room was spotless, the food was amazing, and the staff were both professional and really friendly. The breakfast manager deserves a special mention for being so warm and welcoming. We’d happily stay again.

The view from our amazing room over the gardens and courtyard was beautiful. The castle itself is gorgeous too. We had an outstanding meal in the restaurant, with the friendliest servers, then a lovely breakfast in 1180. The staff there couldn’t have been more attentive. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely come back to stay 🥰🥰❤️❤️

That one-night break with dinner was exactly what we needed to get through a long January. We stayed in the carriage rooms, which were toasty and really comfortable, and the food was perfect. Dinner at Hermione's restaurant was so good I could barely move afterward 😁. The hotel staff were lovely and welcoming, especially in the spa and restaurant. The restaurant team were friendly, in great form, and attentive throughout. We also loved the thermal suite, which helped us properly unwind. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

We’re still in the middle of our honeymoon, but I wanted to share how wonderful it’s been already. The staff at Kilkea Castle have made this a stay we won’t forget. Our spacious, beautiful room and the stunning gardens and grounds around the castle were more than we could have hoped for. The spa and reception staff were generous and made us feel so welcome. Glenn and Sam deserve a special shout-out for making our final dinner at the castle such a fantastic celebration. We’d be back in a heartbeat if Australia weren’t so far away.
