Fitzgeralds Woodlands House

We stayed for three nights with our two very active toddlers and barely left the place. They loved the playground, farm, swimming pool and soft play. A highlight was chatting with the gardener in the polytunnels, who taught the boys about micro greens. The rooms were lovely and the beds really comfortable. The facilities were great, and the staff were so friendly. Joycee at breakfast was especially lovely with us, chatting with the boys and making sure we were looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a perfect few days, thanks everyone!

The Woodlands House Hotel in Adare was a brilliant venue for the Women in Film and TV International Summit. I was on the organising team, and the hospitality was the best I’ve experienced at an Irish hotel. The owners were wonderful to see involved in the day-to-day running of things and treating their staff with such care. The whole team was helpful and diligent, from setup through to last-minute requests. Evan especially looked after us so attentively and kept us laughing with his charm and humour. The food was AMAZING, and the petting farm outside was a lovely extra. I heard great things about the spa, though I didn’t get to try it this time. I’d definitely return. A 10/10 experience, thank you to everyone at the Woodlands for an amazing stay x

The wedding day felt magical, and we were able to relax and enjoy every moment because the team made sure we were looked after. The food was exceptional, and the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable. Our family and friends commented on the stunning venue and wonderful service, and on how smoothly everything ran. From our first conversation through to the day itself, everyone went above and beyond to make the wedding special and relaxed. The setting was beautiful, the attention to detail incredible, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The staff were kind and professional, and cared about making the day unforgettable for our guests as well as for us. We’re so grateful to everyone at The Woodlands for memories we’ll treasure forever. We’ll always look back with huge smiles. The room was great, and breakfast was fabulous, especially the cooked salmon. Service was superb, thank you. I’d have liked softer lighting, perhaps bedside lamps instead of the overhead spotlights. Some hooks in the bathroom and on the wall for coats would be great too.
