The porridge is worth trying, and the hosts made the place feel like home. It’s also a handy base: the train station is close, so taking the DART into Dublin for the day is easy. Don’t skip Baily Lighthouse either, it’s a must-see with only a short detour on the way out.

Howth is a lovely place, and the home was beautiful. The couple hosting us were so kind, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was a treat, with fresh-squeezed OJ, salmon, and classical music playing. Just keep in mind it’s about a 25-minute walk into town, or you’ll need a taxi. Otherwise, a lovely stay.

The hosts made us feel welcome right away, and the cosy rooms were lovely. We had a full Irish breakfast, and they shared great tips for visiting Dublin. Highly recommend.

Good spot to stay in Dublin, with friendly people, nice rooms, and fine porridge at breakfast.

Tom was helpful and friendly, and the room was spacious. It was quiet there too, and great value for the money.
