We were a group of eight visiting from different places, and everyone felt the same about the server. He stayed in one spot and made no effort to be heard, so people had to shout their orders across the table. He seemed impatient when anyone paused or hesitated. Maybe he thought he was being funny, but he came across as strange and frankly incredibly rude. He essentially 'shushed' my mother while she was speaking and he was taking someone else's order. One person's steak was undercooked, but she didn't feel comfortable flagging him down. We went long stretches without anyone checking in, and when we asked for the bill, he made a sarcastic remark. This was an important family dinner and not a cheap meal, so the service didn't match the venue's presentation. The restaurant itself is pretty, with a good menu and nice energy. Great venue, but perhaps they should rethink who they hire for dinner service.

We look forward to coming back before too long, and using this place as a hub when travelling back and forth to Ireland. The hotel is fabulous, with professional, friendly staff. The Dart train is only a short walk away, and there's an excellent range of food, including very good options for guests with food allergies.

Friendly staff, nice rooms and a good location. Breakfast was very nice too. The soundproofing isn't great, unfortunately. If your room is above the bar, don't expect an early night. It may not suit young children or light sleepers.

I watched a rugby match here once, then came back another time for breakfast. It's a very pleasant spot with friendly, helpful staff. They had Spanish 00 lager 👍, and a great breakfast selection.

The restaurant and bar food is fantastic. The steak was amazing and cooked perfectly, and the cocktails are so good and well priced for the area. Breakfast comes with the stay, was really good, and had plenty of choices to suit everyone. The rooms are spotless and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. There's a small shop attached to the hotel and bar, handy for picking up a few bits. It's in a really nice, quiet part of Dublin, with just a short taxi ride into the city. Brilliant hotel, and I'll definitely stay again.
