Hilton Dublin Kilmainham

The room was stunning, comfortable, spotless, and finished to a very high standard. My dog was welcomed too, which meant a lot and showed how much care the staff give each guest. Mr. Phil Young, Felipe, and the whole team treated me like a superstar from arrival, with warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality. Everyone I met went above and beyond. The food was amazing as well. A first class stay from start to finish, and I can't wait to return.

Felipe was a breath of fresh air at the front desk when I arrived. My service rating here is strictly about the restaurant, and it's unfortunate because I want to separate the restaurant experience from the hotel. The young restaurant staff did the best they could amid the chaos and confusion, but customer service and clear procedures need serious attention. Billing and ordering weren't organized, there were no clear times for when drinks or food were served, and the bar seemed to make up its closing time as it went. We felt rushed to order, were repeatedly told the kitchen was about to close before we'd even ordered, and then staff asked if our food was okay as it was literally closing. It wasn't clear how anything could be fixed afterward. The smallest Coca Cola I've ever seen cost $4.50 euros. Dana, one of the restaurant managers, whose name I think I'm spelling properly, wouldn't let me sit among the thousands of empty breakfast seats to drink coffee I'd brought from outside, insisting I go to my room. I didn't pay thousand upon thousand of euros for a hotel and restaurant to be sent to my room to read and write a book over coffee. I understand not allowing outside food or drinks into a restaurant, but the restaurant takes up the whole hotel main floor, with all those seats, and this is a hotel. At least offer “free” coffee and include it in the room charges, to give one more attempt at making guests feel accommodated. The Customer Is Not King, but please try to accommodate people. This would be Grand (as they say).

The food was amazing, and even my dog was treated like a VIP. Phil, Felipe and Valentina made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was beautiful, and the team was warm and professional. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back.

I’m moving to Ireland and needed help with documents and receiving mail. Mayara at breakfast, the front desk team and Sachin from management helped me right away, with genuine kindness. It felt like real support at an important moment, beyond just hotel service. This Hilton absolutely deserves 5 stars, and what made the stay unforgettable was its staff. I’ll happily return whenever I'm in Dublin.
