Breakfast had plenty to pick from, including a full Irish, boiled eggs, cereal, toast, fruit, cheese and cold meats. We had a lovely room looking out over the beach, and the B&B was clean, quiet and good value.

Jim made us feel very welcome. Our room was warm and comfortable, with sea views and a great power shower. Breakfast was generous, and the staff were lovely. There’s also a shared room with books and a TV, plus lots of parking. It’s a real gem in the middle of Enniscrone, just minutes from the beach. We’ll definitely come back!

We’ve been visiting Enniscrone and the West of Ireland for over 20 years, and Jim’s place is right by the beach. I know Him, the owner, well, and he’s a nice man. The rooms are great and really clean and tidy, and breakfast is fantastic fuel for the day. He also has two self-contained houses that we’ve stayed in before. I’d recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a place to stay.

After a wet, dark evening, Jim greeted us warmly and asked what we needed. Our room, number 2, had a great view and a huge bathroom, and there was heating on with extra blankets ready. Ceol na Mara sits right in the heart of Enniscrone, backing onto a six-mile beach. The seaweed baths nearby have fittings and baths from the Edwardian Era. Clare's cooked breakfast was fantastic. For lunch, there's a cafe down the street with great food, and a nearby hotel has a good evening menu. I’m hoping to come back very soon and rent one of Jim’s two little holiday homes. I highly recommend this guesthouse, top marks for a great stay.

The room was small, with a tiny en suite, and I felt the price was far too high. We got a key without a warm welcome or any information about breakfast or checkout, so we missed breakfast. When we left, the owner stood waiting with the card machine and didn’t ask how our stay had been. I can’t see myself staying here again.
