On a quiet farm near the coast, this B&B was a peaceful spot for a short break. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and each morning there was a delicious full Irish breakfast cooked to order, along with tea, coffee, toast, cereals and juices. There’s plenty of parking on site. Our en suite room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed, lots of storage, a TV and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom had a walk-in shower, and fresh towels were provided daily along with shampoo and shower gel.

Julie was a star from the time we arrived until we left the next morning. The room was well appointed, spotless and well priced. Breakfast was excellent. I’d stay again without hesitation and have highly recommended Fortview to friends and family for a future visit.

Staying in this quiet area meant we could sleep at night without noise after spending the day visiting places and discovering the beauty of Co. Sligo. The B&B is very close to Enniscrone, where there are shops and restaurants, and, most importantly, a very nice long beach.

Thomas was a lovely host, and the B&B is in a nice, quiet spot just 1.7 km from Enniscrone. Our room was very large and spotless, with an en suite, TV and WiFi. Breakfast was continental, and the best one of that kind I’ve had. I can’t fault the place and will stay again.

Mandy, the football-loving dog, was amazing. Julia, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, and the location worked well for getting out and about. We had a nice five-night stay.
