Ailbhe was really nice and helpful, and the continental breakfast was delicious. This is a B&B, not a hotel. Salthill Strand is just a two-minute walk away, and you can get into Galway City for €2.00 by bus or take a pleasant 20-minute walk, depending on the weather. I'd recommend it if you're trying to avoid hotel prices. Arabica Restaurant in Salthill is worth a recommendation too, the food was lovely.

A tidy, clean little B&B with really friendly, helpful staff. It's close to the seafront and not far from town. They even supplied enough coffee and milk for my whole stay, which hasn't happened at the other places I've tried. I'll come back. Thanks.

Alibhe and Andrew were great hosts, and booking through Airbnb was a good experience from start to finish. Breakfast had pastries, fruit, cereal, toast, and coffee or tea, enough to get the day going. A great spot to crash for a few nights.

It's a lovely, very clean old building, and you can walk to either Galway or Salthill in 10-15 minutes.

The place wasn't very clean, and the toilet seat was broken. I was stuck in a tiny, cramped room with a low ceiling. It felt really claustrophobic.
