For just one night, the personal service was top notch. Gemma checked us in and showed us to our room; she was so attentive that I felt like her only guest. The bellmen were excellent too, especially Cyrill, who happily listened to my long stories about the South. I could have talked with him all day. There's so much to enjoy here, and I highly recommend making this a stop in Ireland, or even your destination. When we come back, the Falcon experience will be first on my list, along with the spa. They also offer golf and fishing for the husbands, FYI.

We loved the restaurants on the property, and the estate itself is stunning. The room was beautiful, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the complimentary chocolates were a thoughtful touch. From arrival onward, everyone was attentive and kind, especially while helping with our bags at check-in and departure. We had an amazing stay.

The breakfast room was a favorite, and the Full irish breakfast was something special. My partner and I had a very enjoyable two-night stay at Glenlough in early December 2025. The hotel was luxurious, welcoming, and beautifully decorated for the Festive Season. Staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely recommend Glenlough Abbey for a relaxing break.

I stayed for two nights in April and had a phenomenal experience, five stars throughout. Being just outside Galway made it easy to drive into the city or out to the countryside. The employees were very accommodating, and I was especially impressed by the front desk and breakfast teams. They made sure breakfast was amazing every day.

The lodge where we stayed is still on the grounds, and the main hotel lobby and grounds are nice. Reception staff were nice too. But for a five-star hotel, the experience as a whole left us underwhelmed. Our room lacked basic amenities and there was no turn-down service; many small details felt basic compared with the other five-star hotels on our trip. Palmers Restaurant was similarly mediocre. The food was okay, but the experience fell short, and we didn't feel we got what we paid for.
