The Stop B and B

After a long drive through horrendous weather, The Stop was a lovely place to arrive at. The decor is carefully done, with a wonderful range of art on the walls. Our room was cosy and warm, and the bed was very comfortable, firm without being too firm. We slept really well. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great mix of hot and cold choices, from homemade granola to pancakes with bacon. I also liked the record player and music at breakfast. Russell was kind and personable, and suggested a few places of interest for our drive north. The Stop is a great option if you're staying in Galway. We hope to return and spend longer in the area.

Our night at The Stop stood out as the most memorable part of our ten days in Ireland. The hosts were warm and helped us plan a great day in Galway city. It's a beautiful, comfortable space where the details feel carefully considered, from the books on the coffee table to the artwork and delicious homemade breakfast. We'd absolutely come back.

It's just a five-minute walk to the busy downtown, but the BnB itself is in a nice, quiet spot. Breakfast had a good range of options as well as a delicious buffet section. Russell and the rest of the team were very hospitable and gave us plenty of ideas for excursions, meals, and things to do. Even the website is worth a look. An exceptional stay, and we'll definitely book here again next time we're back in Galway.
