Those fresh mini-muffins were such a lovely touch, and my mom is still talking about the porridge and hoping to get the recipe. The breakfast was our favorite of the whole trip, and the beds were the most comfortable we slept in during our Ireland adventure. The room was beautifully put together, too. This was our first stop, and it set a very high bar. The grounds are lovely, and the town is right outside the main entrance. The place has so much charm. Huge thanks to all the staff, we hope to come back!

The horse riding was a 10/10. The yard staff and instructors were excellent and took care to match us with suitable horses. We loved the horse themed lodge room, which had everything we needed, and even got a welcome coffee when we arrived. The staff were friendly and down to earth, and checking in at noon was a really nice, unusual bonus. The whole stay was 10/10, so we booked another visit for soon. It felt like a five star hotel without any of the fuss.

Margaret was so attentive and quick to sort everything, and the rest of the staff were wonderful too. We spent two weeks here and found it incredible from beginning to end. My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Castle Leslie Lodge, after marking our 30th there ten years earlier. Both times it was a lovely place to switch off and unwind, whether in the Castle or the Lodge. We had a perfect couple of days, with great food, a beautiful location and attentive staff. The service was lovely, and we enjoyed the handmade chocolate from Glaslough Chocolate across the road.

The setting is lovely for a wedding, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day. The meal was okay, though my dish was a bit dry and too salty. I heard that people who chose the other main thought theirs was lovely. I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the accommodation.
