The island was a pleasure to explore, and we even took a long walk from the B&B across to the other side. It’s also an easy walk to the beach, about 15 minutes at a relaxed pace, with lovely clear water. The ferries are around 10 minutes away on foot. We stayed one night at An Creagan Bed and Breakfast. The room was clean and fine for a short visit, though we only noticed there was no hairdryer after showering late at night. We might have been able to ask for one, but it was too late to contact anyone by then. The view from the property was lovely. We sat outside for a while and watched the sun go down over the sea, right behind the other two Aran Islands. Breakfast was served at the hotel, and I was really grateful they made me a vegan breakfast. We went to a nearby pub for dinner.

Nollaig and Ciarán made us feel so welcome, they’re warm and friendly. The room was cozy and clean, and breakfast was delicious. I’d happily stay here again.

The ocean stretched out for miles from our windows, such a breathtaking view. We also loved the beds, ridiculously comfortable, and the freshly made breakfast was delicious. Nollaig was a friendly, welcoming hostess. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was stunning. That shower was unreal. We’ll definitely come back!

The views were great, and the welcome was so warm. We slept comfortably in a good bed and enjoyed a nice breakfast. A great place to stay.

Breakfast set us up perfectly for the long walk to O’Brien Castle, especially with those high winds. We’ll definitely stay again.
