Aran Islands Camping & Glamping

The weather changed and the boats cancelled their crossings on the day we were meant to sail, so our two-night booking became a one-night stay. The pod itself was clean and just right for what we needed. Still, paying €390 for that one night with no compensation was disappointing. Whatever the fine print says, a little thoughtfulness would have gone a long way.

We had a lovely two-night stay in July in one of the bigger pods. The shared kitchen was well equipped, and the laundry and other facilities were great. Our pod was spotless and comfortable, and the piping-hot shower was just what we needed after swimming at the sandy beach across from the pods. Michael, his team and especially the reception staff were so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this as a lovely way to experience Inishmore.

Our dog had the time of his life on the island, and we could bring him along to pubs and on bus trips. The site is right beside a stunning beach, and the staff, especially the girls at reception, were super friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous glamping trip to Inis Mór with our children. The facilities were great too. The one issue was how hot the pod got at night. We left both windows open all day and the door open whenever we were 'at home', but it was still boiling. I understand it needs to be warm because of its location, though a fan might help, especially during warmer summers. Even so, I’d happily return and recommend the site to friends and family.

Our family pod slept six and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped, with a gorgeous beach right across the road. The pier, bars and restaurants are just a short walk away. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient, and the place is well run. We’re looking forward to coming back as soon as we can.
