Holiday Hotel

I don't get all the bad reviews. We stayed the night and had no complaints. It was spotless, even smelling of the cleaning products they'd used in the bathroom, and the cozy room looked like the pictures.

The rooms are warm and comfortable, and spotless, though a bit tired in places. The staff were friendly, the price was good, and the location was excellent for town life. Nearby parking can fill up, and the rooms aren't suitable if stairs are a struggle. I'd visit again.

The photos online don't show what the place is really like. Our room was small, dark, dated, and not very clean, with a tiny shower and bathroom. There's no food served and no parking on site. I wouldn't stay again.

The pub crowd outside kept shouting until early morning, and we couldn't get any sleep. Inside, the room smelled of cigarettes, mould, and a recycling depot. The shower had less pressure than a windshield wiper, and hot water seemed like a gamble. We also couldn't see the ocean views advertised, just a Centra and a pharmacy. I've never seen a photographer make a room look so habitable. Save your money, I'd rather have slept in my rental car. I left feeling dirtier than when I arrived. I didn't personally run into any snails, but from the reviews, an ongoing snail infestation seems to be an issue. Enjoy!
