Kathleen was a lovely, easygoing host and gave me lots of helpful information and tips. My room was quiet and really nice, and the service was good too. I had a great stay, thanks for everything!

The people looking after us were so sweet, and it almost felt like being with family. The B&B was peaceful, with clean, quiet rooms and a fresh, great breakfast. It's about 15 minutes from town, but driving there is easy and public transport is accessible.

Avoca House worked really well for us. It's conveniently placed, quiet enough because it's away from the city centre, but still close enough to get in easily. Kathleen was a wonderful host, and we loved the amazing breakfast each day.

We were touring Ireland and spent a night at Avoca House in May. Kathleen and her husband made us feel so welcome and were incredibly kind. Kathleen suggested places nearby for dinner, and we followed her advice and had a wonderful evening. Our room was spacious, clean, and peaceful. The homemade Irish breakfast was delicious, especially the scones, the best homemade ones we've ever had. Our hosts did everything they could for us, and we appreciated Kathleen and her husband so much. I'd be very happy to return and spend more time in Galway, a beautiful city.
