We had such a lovely stay at The K Club in April. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms beautiful, and everyone was friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, from water and extra toiletries to even band-aids when something unexpected came up. The food was delicious everywhere we ate on the property, and every drink was poured perfectly. The gym was functional, and the pool and jacuzzi were really great. One of our best stays in Ireland. A couple of things to be aware of, though neither would stop me from staying again. The gym and spa are in a separate building, quite a long way from the hotel rooms, and getting there involves some outdoor walking and lots of twists and turns. The signs were more than adequate, but I still might have got lost without them. Also, some of the carpets and rugs make it hard to roll bags across. It was a struggle dragging two heavy suitcases and a fairly large duffle in and out. I'd ten thousand percent stay again. We really enjoyed our time at The K Club.

We had a great four-night stay at the K-Club. The staff's excellent, friendly service made a real difference. My highlight was fly fishing on the Liffey with guide Johannes. He put me on fish, and I caught a decent number of beautiful brown trout. He went out of his way to make the few hours fun and productive, lent me his Euro nymphing rig, and showed me how to use it. Those tactics were new to me, and I caught another beautiful brown trout with them. I highly recommend the fly fishing. If you get Johannes as your guide, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

I proposed to my fiancée during our stay at the K Club, and the staff went out of their way to make the occasion special. Everyone was welcoming and attentive. Tony, the guest relations manager, was excellent and made sure we were well looked after. I'd definitely recommend the K Club as a warm, welcoming place to stay or to plan an event.

The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived in the car park. Everyone we met was marvellous and went out of their way to help make our stay special. Ceaser deserves a special mention for being engaging, entertaining and wonderful to deal with. Fantastic trip, well worth it. Thank you all.

I've had afternoon tea at the hotel three times before, and it was always a good experience. Today's visit with a friend and my daughters was very different. I'm not sure if the price has gone up or if it's just higher for the holiday season, but we were willing to pay. Still, €70 for what we got felt like daylight robbery. The sandwich choice was poor. The vegetarians got egg mayo rolls and cucumber with cream cheese; the others got the same selection with turkey sandwiches. They were stale and the corners had started curling, like they'd been sitting out for a while. We asked for fresh ones and got either the same sandwiches back or ones just as stale. The scones were so-so. There was barely enough jam and cream for two people to share, and the cakes were three mousse cakes, two of them disgusting, plus carrot cake. Really? Five star, my you know what. Do better, K Club.
