The best part was breakfast: hot dishes as well as continental options, with coffee, tea and juice. You do have to walk about half a block to the hotel restaurant for it, though, since the place is owned by the Fairmont hotel down the street and the owner or manager isn't on site. The rooms are clean, but small, and the bathroom is especially cramped. The sink is low and tiny, and I nearly hit my head on the shelf above it when bending down. The bed wasn't especially comfortable, though that's subjective. There's no lift, and our room was up narrow stairs, so luggage is awkward. The coffee maker was in the closet, presumably because there was nowhere else to put it. It's a short walk to almost everything in Killarney city center.

We asked the person checking us in for vegetarian food recommendations, but they just said it was a tourist town and we should walk around, we'd surely find something. They either didn't know or didn't want to spend time helping. I wouldn't recommend the place. Our room for three was so cramped there was barely room to move beyond getting into bed. The mattresses were thin, the beds sagged badly in the middle, and sitting down I could feel the springs or frame. I slept horribly.

The WiFi was really awful. Parking across the street was easy to access and very reasonably priced, but it was booked one night, so we had to park outside the B&B for a few hours.

The receptionist was friendly, and the location is fantastic, with a city parking lot across the street for 3 euro a day. Killarney is worth a stop, but the stay itself felt strange and cost far too much for what we got. We checked in at the hotel down the street, then realized this was basically just a room: breakfast was served at the hotel too, not at the BNB. Our room was tiny, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the mattresses seemed ancient. The bathroom was clean, but the towels were worn almost threadbare.
