19th Green guesthouse

We really enjoyed our stay and felt welcome throughout. Freda was lovely and gave us some handy tips for the area. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower worked well. The guesthouse was careful about distancing, masks and other hygiene measures. Some shared spaces were restricted at the time, but we could use a large, warmly decorated sitting room to sit and eat. Breakfast was well organised, with booked time slots to keep people spaced out. We both had the Real Irish Breakfast, which was tasty and filling. There's plenty of parking, which is useful in this part of Ireland. Everything was handled thoughtfully and professionally. We'd come back and would recommend the place.

We had dinner here while on the Insight tour, and it was disgusting. The service was horrible and rushed, and the food was awful. The decor was horrible too, and there was only one bathroom. Give this place a miss and eat in town instead. Horrible.

The owner was really kind and paid attention to what we needed. The place is green and peaceful, so we slept well and had a tasty breakfast in the morning. We liked the hotel, the rooms and the place itself. If we'd had more time, we would have stayed another night.

There was a good spread at breakfast, including cooked dishes. Our host was friendly and kindly found us plates and things for the dinner we'd brought back. The house is close enough to the road that traffic noise is noticeable. Our room was okay, though the decor and linen felt a bit dated. For what we got, the price seemed somewhat high, though maybe that's just the premium on everything in Killarney.
