Dan Linehans Bar and B&B

I only popped in for a drink, but it became one of the highlights of my trip. It has the feel of a local spot, though in typical Irish fashion everyone makes you feel welcome once you start chatting. They were incredibly friendly. If Jason thinks you're cool, he might let you pour a Guinness. If you're really cool, he might even pretend you did a good job 😂

Breakfast had lots of great options and everything was delicious. The kitchen staff were very kind and helpful, and gave us good tourist tips. Our room had everything we needed and was very nice, right in the centre of Killarney. The staff in the bar were friendly, too.

Norita's breakfast was on another level. All the choices were good, but her omelettes were absolutely amazing, and the homemade breads and muffins were delicious. She was super friendly and gave us tips on where to go in Killarney. The bar is cosy and friendly, with top-class Guinness. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with shower gel, moisturiser, fresh towels, coffee, tea and complimentary snacks. The shower had seriously good pressure and always hot water. A perfect place to stay in Killarney, with a spot-on location.

We stayed at Dan Linehan’s on our last night in Dublin before an early ferry back to Holyhead. The staff were friendly, the room was fine and the food in the bar was good Irish fare. Central Dublin's bars were within walking distance, and the ferry port wasn't too far away.
