Muckross Park Hotel & Spa

The breakfasts were generous and absolutely delicious, and the spa was truly relaxing. Staff were warm, friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. The hotel was spotless and beautifully looked after, with excellent facilities. It’s an exceptionally comfortable, wonderfully cosy place to unwind.

The setting is gorgeous, and the staff were so professional. I came for afternoon tea and really loved it. It was very nice, though it would be even better if it came out a bit faster 🙏. Five-star luxury, and I’d highly recommend it.

The staff were fantastic and very apologetic when I had to ask for another room because the heating in mine wasn't working. They were accommodating about the switch. But during my stay about a month ago, there were buckets in the corridor catching rain from a serious leak outside the guest rooms. It's a lovely hotel, though the building needs substantial upgrading to be worthy of five stars.

The staff were the best part of our one-night stay at Muckross Park Hotel & Spa. They were consistently friendly and helpful, and breakfast was decent, with a fair choice and good service. The location beside Killarney National Park is a real plus for walking or exploring, and there was plenty of on-site parking. It was comfortable and pleasant, but the price and five-star positioning make me less inclined to return. The finish and attention to detail didn't feel quite up to that level, and some things seemed a little dated or short on refinement. Nothing was seriously wrong, but nothing stood out as exceptional either. To me, it felt like a good four-star stay at best.
