Old Killarney Cottages

The house was very clean, and they provided towels and fresh bed linen. It's close to Killarney town, with plenty to do nearby. Still, it felt dated and, at €900 for the week, quite overpriced, though I know costs in Ireland are high these days. The stay was fine overall, but the experience left me feeling that holidays in Ireland are becoming less appealing.

Our group of 7 could stay comfortably here for the price. It's a large duplex-style place with comfortable beds, and you can add a welcome basket with some Pete and light foods, which was a nice touch. We did run out of hot water one morning, though.

It's a quiet area, but getting around without a car isn't really practical. There's a supermarket nearby, and the town is just a few minutes away by car. The house was comfortable and recently updated, though the bathrooms still felt dated. These are cottages, so the interiors may differ from one to another.

We had an amazing stay for two nights with my wife, sister-in-law, and friend. The cottage was very clean, and the reception guy was helpful and understanding when my car broke down after we arrived. The garage wouldn't have it ready until 4 pm on checkout day, so I explained the situation at reception. They let us stay until the car was ready. Really, really amazing service, and I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Killarney.
